Rich Harrison
Rich was recently on a radio stationand he was interviewed. My friend managed to record the interview for me. Here are the highlights:
- He's working on the upcoming projects by 3LW, Kelly Rowland, Claudette Ortiz and Usher, among others.
- He did three songs for 3LW, but he doesn't know which ones will make it on the album. The songs he did are called "Do Ya", "No Matter What" and "Senses".
- Rich described the songs he did for Kelly Rowland as 'hip-hop meets burlesque'. "The songs I did for Kelly are really different than my usual sound." says Rich, "The particular song is "Up In Da Club". It's just very sexy". I CAN'T WAIT!
- He wrote a song called "Chickenhead" with Claudette Ortiz, but it may never see the light of day. "It's too controversial" he said. :(
- Usher was mad at Rich for giving his 2004 song "Ride" to J. Lo, but everything's fine now. Rich is even producing 6 songs off of Ush's upcoming album!!

This is Chris' first single off his upcoming album, Daughtry. It's called "It's Not Over". It's a catchy, rock song!! Certified hit!!! Chris was on American Idol. Him & Katharine McPhee are the only ones I liked on Season 5.

That's all crap talk, 'cause she got hella promotion! Recently, producer Kwame (Mya "I Am", Christina Aguilera "Understand") visited a radio station and they asked him about the songs he did with Janet. He said he did 5 songs for her, and one was called "The Truth". He also said the song Janet did with Dr. Dre would make Beyonce's "Ring The Alarm" look like a lullaby! Why the fuck wasn't it on the album? “ASK JIMMY AND TERRY HOW THEY FELT WHEN JERMAINE CAME OVER AND CHANGED ALMOST EVERYTHING” that's what he said!! Blame JD!!!! I do blame him for destroying the career of one of the biggest female singers of all time. SMHF!

I'm a huuuuuuge fan of hers. If you think she's not my type of music, then you're wrong. My first love of music was POP, with a hint of rock. Anyways, I sent her a message on her MySpace, and guess what? She answered! I was shocked at first, 'cause it was totally unexpected. She told me stuff about her upcoming projects, which include a new album.

She told me stuff about her upcoming projects, which include a new album.
The new album, tentatively titled Has Factual Information, includes
production by Soulshock & Karlin (Jeannie Ortega, Kelly Rowland), who
produced her second single from her album, "Whatever" (which is mega hot, by the
way), and Kara DioGuardi (Ashlee Simpson, Paris Hilton). The head of production
is Tony Berg, while Brie either wrote or co-wrote each song. She also had a
reunion with producers from her first album (Peter Zizzo, Rick Wake etc.).
Tracks that might appear on her album include "Stilts & The Titanic", "Dear
Universe", "Superstition", "PowerShift" and "Closer To Fine". "I wanted a more
mature sound for my next album," says Brie. "The first CD was really poppy. This
time, I'm going for a more rocky sound."

I love this chick!!! She was a member of the group, MIS-TEEQ, who were famous for their STARGATE produced song, "Scandalous". Alesha Dixon was always my favorite member of Mis-Teeq, because she was the one that seemed unique to me. She has her own style, and a unique voice, aswell. Her sassy first single, "Lipstick", fared well on the charts, but she's hoping for a top ten single with her new reggae influenced jam, "Knockdown". Her debut album, FIRED UP, is going to be released on November 8th. I look forward to it!

I love this video. I actually felt depressed after watching it, which is surprising, 'cause movies have 0 effect on me. Just goes to show that Xtina's a great actress. The storyline was great, the costumes were great, everything was great! Propz to the director (???) and Christina for this amazing video!

I love this chick!!! She was a member of the group, MIS-TEEQ, who were famous for their STARGATE produced song, "Scandalous". Alesha Dixon was always my favorite member of Mis-Teeq, because she was the one that seemed unique to me. She has her own style, and a unique voice, aswell. Her sassy first single, "Lipstick", fared well on the charts, but she's hoping for a top ten single with her new reggae influenced jam, "Knockdown". Her debut album, FIRED UP, is going to be released on November 8th. I look forward to it!

It's a part of her upcoming album, Because I Love It, which includes production by The Buchanans ("That's What U Are", "Crazy Wonderful", "Make Me Believe", "Crush"), Ron Browz ("After Everything"), Quran Goodman ("Some Like It", "Doesn't Make Sense"), Cee-Lo Green ("Take Control"), Rich Harrison ("Back", "Whatever I Say", "The Essence Of Love"), Tim & Bob ("One Night") and DJ Premier. I loved that she worked with a more variety of producers, than just 2 or 3.
Anyways, I'm lovin' what I'm hearin' from my girl!
EDIT: Rumor has it that Tim & Bob gave her the song they produced for Mya's shelved album, CONTROL FREAK. Hope it's true!! The beat def. works with her voice!
