Okay, so here is the 3rd FUNKY-MEDIA interview, and I really enjoyed this one. I interviewed the amazing SILENA MURRELL. Here is the interview:

Q1: I recently saw the video of you performing on your MySpace. You did amazing!!! How do you keep your beautiful voice in shape?
I do funny sounding vocal exercises, warm-ups etc. The show I did in Virginia was hectic I didn't have time to warm up or anything. We were stuck in the airport taveling 17 hrs and I had to run right on stage and perform straight from the airport. LOL The show must go on. :)
Q2: Your song, "Dying 2 Tell U", is amazing!! Can you tell me other song titles?
Other song titles are "Stand Up" encouraging women or men to stand alone for a while until the right one comes along. "Just Asking" - asking the true intentions of a potential soul mate :)
Q3: "I Like My Man Hard", produced by Scott Storch, was supposed to be your first single. Why did you change it to "Bring It Home"? Was it because of Chris Brown's copycat single?
No It was because the label took too long to move on it. But It was the official soundtack to the Book "Sex.Lies.Muder.Fame" written by Lolita Files. It was the first time a book had a sound track. :) The label wanted people to know that I'm a real singer. I thought Bring It Home was a good single -people always enjoy it when I perform it live.
Q4: What is the title of your album? When will it be released?
The title of my album and release I can not disclose. There have been major changes even with my label, which are better for me. It will take a little while longer for my album to release but It is definitely a better situation and strategy for success..
Q5: What are your favorite songs and/or albums at the moment? (Please don't say Justin Timberlake)
I like Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" :) I don't have a favorite song or album right now. I've been listening to old stuff.
Q6: What should fans, like myself, expect of your album? Will it be uptempo or all ballads?
My album is going to be a combination of uptempo, mids and ballads but it's definitely going to feel good. :)
Q7: Are you single, or are you in a relationship?
I've been single for a while now and I like it. ;) Freedom has its rewards.
Q8: You are one of the few artists that REALLY contacts their fans. How do you find the time to do that with your hectic schedule?
I have someone assist me in alot of things so it makes it a little easier. It may take me some time to respond ,but I will. :)
Q9: What producers did you work with, and who do you want to work with?
I would like to work with Polo, Timbeland, and B.Cox. I have worked with Adonis Shropshire, Scott Storch, Eric Dawkins, Tricky Stewart, Ralph Stacey, Steve Huff etc..
Q10: There are rumors floating around that Diane Martel, who directed videos for Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson, is going to direct the video for "Bring It Home". Is that true?
Not that I know of.
Q11: Your songwriting is fantastic!! I still get chills listening to the lyrics of The Braxton's "Never Say Goodbye". Where do you get your inspiration?
Thank you. My inspiration is life. I wrote that from the heart. I try to write from the heart or other's hearts. :)
Q12: Is it true that you worked with Makeba Riddick and Swizz Beatz?
I co-wrote three songs with Mekeba Riddick but I have not worked with Swiz z Beatz -not yet anyway. That might be a good idea ha ha ha :)

The Black Eyed Peas are currently in the studio working on their upcoming album, tentatively titled Revolution. They are working with producers Noise Trip (who did songs for Fergie's debut), Polow Da Don, Max Martin, Lil' Jon and others. The first single, "Can't Stop Us", is supposed to be sent to radio in the Summer, after Fergie stops promoting The Dutchess. The album is set for a Sep '07 release.
Wow, Fergie is working nonstop!!!!! I can't wait for the new BEP album!!

Willa was asked to return to DANCING WITH CELEBS, but she denied so she could focus on her new album. Willa also has a shelved album under her belt, SEXYSEXOBSSESIVE, which included the Top 50 hit, "A Toast To Men". It was never released because of legal reasons. (???) -- Kelly Rowland's upcoming album, titled MISS KELLY, will be preceeded by the single, "I'm Cool", according to Wiki. The set includes production by Rich Harrison, Sean Garrett and Soulshock & Karlin, among others. It's due Feb. 21. -- Trina's upcoming album, Da Baddest Bitch II, has been pushed back to Spring '07. The first single is "Centerfold Girl".

"Over It" is breathtaking!! I simply CAN'T WAIT for Kat's album. She's my favorite AI contestant. Never Saw It Comin' includes production by Timbaland protege, Nate Hills, Ryan Leslie, Kara DioGaurdi and UNeSS. The first single is rumored to be "Open Toes".

Ciara is set to debut at NUMBER UNO with her sophomore, Ciara: The Evolution!! She is expected to sell around 325 k. Congrats CiCi! Also, the annoying Eminem is presumed to debut at #2 selling 280 k. Didn't he retire?? I swear, these rap people presumabely retire, but release a new album... *rolls eyes* Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape is #3, expecting to sell 250 k, which is good. I expected her to do much better, though. The Dreamgirls OST is expected to sell around 125 k, but it might get higher on the films worldwide release on Dec. 25, Christmas day.

I just logged onto My Space, and guess who I found online? Rihanna!!! I sent her a message immediately asking her if I could do an interview with her for the site. She replied YES!! She also said that she visited Funky-Media when her career first started because it popped up when she did a search of her name! (If you check back on the first FM site, you'll notice that Rihanna was in the first post EVER and that I refrained from posting her albums, and I promoted her. Anyways, here is the interview:
Funky-Media: So, you have just been on the World Music Awards...
Rihanna: Yeah.
FM:: So, you got booed, which is ridiculous. Your performance was amazing. I can't believe they did that.
R: Well, the music industry is like that. You have your ups, you have your downs. I'm just thankful that I'm in the music industry and that most of my career was great.
FM: So you aren't sad?
R: I was at first, because I put so much energy in the performance, but then I thought about it. Even the greatest artists have been booed at some point in their career, but it shouldn't make you feel bad. If anything, it should boost your career.
FM: That's so true. Anyways, you mentioned you visited Funky-Media before.
R: Yeah, I did. It was back in 2005. I'm thankful for all the coverage you did.
FM: Your welcome. Are you working on new material?
R: A new song of mine hotness ft. Shontelle is on the save the last dance 2 soundtrack. I'm also working on a new album but I'm taking my time. It's not rushed like a girl like me was.
FM: Who are you working with, and can you give me more detalis?
R: I'm working with Evan and Carl. I've also got future studio sessions with Stargate and JR. The album still has no release date or title.
FM: You have had a small role in the latest Bring It On movie, and you appeared on an episode of All My Children. Are you going to work on other movies?
R: I have gotten scripts, and I'm considering a few. Nothing too serious, though.
FM: You went on a tour with the Black Eyed Peas, the Pussycat Dolls and Gwen Stefani. Those are big names. What did you think of them?
R: They were all nice. Especially Gwen. I thought she was gonna be diva-like, but she's really down-to-earth. So are bep and pcd.

Da Baddest Bit*ch II is the fourth full-length studio album by Miami based
rapper Trina. It is speculated to be released December 19, 2006. It has been
found that some of the songs on the album will either be produced or featured by
Cash Money Records artists, mainly because Trina is currently dating Cash Money
artist Lil' Wayne. She has also lined up an all-star production team consisting
of Jazze Pha, Kanye West, Timbaland, and Scott Storch. This is said to be the
sequel to Trina's 2000 debut Da Baddest Bit*ch. It is also said to be her
raunchiest album to date. As shown to be true through titles such as The Raunchy
Song, (The Floor, the Couch, the Bed) And Back), and Centerfold Girl.There was
some speculation as to when a single would be released and which song would it
be. Well many said that RockStarr and others said it would be Bit*ch Is Back or

Well, I never commented on Britney's divorce with K-Fed, so here is what I think about it: I think that Brit doesn't deserve the shit he put her through. If she didn't leave him, it would put a stain on her career. I think divorcing him is the right choice, since Brit seems much happier than she did three weeks ago. Also, she's just in time for a fresh new start with the new year! I wish Brit all the luck in her career and personal life. Sincerely, a true Britney Spears fan. -- In other news, Christina Aguilera's third album, Back To Basics, has just been confirmed PLATINUM. Umm... isn't it too late, Baby Jane? LaTavia Roberson: I'm doin' fine! I'm here in H-Town laying down some tracks for my upcoming mixtape.
FM: Your working on a mixtape?
LR: Yes! I am workin with Brian Casey and Teddy Bishop. Look for new trax I'll put on here!
FM: Sounds exciting!
LR: It is. Trust me, the whole vibe is real different than DC.
FM: Your also working with Teddy Bishop? LeToya worked with him, too.
LR: Toya actually hooked me up wit him. You see, I came to visit her in the studio and he was there. My nickname for Teddy is 'Teddy Bear'!
FM: You were also in a girl group with LeToya called Anjel. What happened back there?
LR: Honestly the whole thing didn't work out. The trax we put out were a mess and we didn't have a particular style.
FM: Really? I thought the tracks were kinda cute. Especially "Lingerie".
LR: That was one of the highlights. That's why it was great. The rest was all bland.
FM: What musical direction are you going with as a solo artist, and which artists do you look up to?
LR: My music has a jazzy feel to it, with a hip-hop twist. Think Mary J. meets Lil' Kim. Also, I admire Whitney Houston. I sampled her song "Dance With Somebody" for a song of mine. I also love Tamia and Monica.
FM: You recently mentioned that you love acting. Are you acting in something now?
LR: I am looking at scripts right now, and I also might make an appearence on the show Lost.
FM: I'm looking forward to that!! Anyways, can you tell me album and song titles?

Rich Harrison
Rich was recently on a radio stationand he was interviewed. My friend managed to record the interview for me. Here are the highlights:
- He's working on the upcoming projects by 3LW, Kelly Rowland, Claudette Ortiz and Usher, among others.
- He did three songs for 3LW, but he doesn't know which ones will make it on the album. The songs he did are called "Do Ya", "No Matter What" and "Senses".
- Rich described the songs he did for Kelly Rowland as 'hip-hop meets burlesque'. "The songs I did for Kelly are really different than my usual sound." says Rich, "The particular song is "Up In Da Club". It's just very sexy". I CAN'T WAIT!
- He wrote a song called "Chickenhead" with Claudette Ortiz, but it may never see the light of day. "It's too controversial" he said. :(
- Usher was mad at Rich for giving his 2004 song "Ride" to J. Lo, but everything's fine now. Rich is even producing 6 songs off of Ush's upcoming album!!

Chris Daughtry
This is Chris' first single off his upcoming album, Daughtry. It's called "It's Not Over". It's a catchy, rock song!! Certified hit!!! Chris was on American Idol. Him & Katharine McPhee are the only ones I liked on Season 5.
